@.:A-MAN:. I've heard of Handbrake, will probably use that for this purpose. Only reason I wouldn't make it a .webm is if I found a way to make the video work on N3DS and Wii U's browsers (which only support MP4 as far as I know) due to it being smaller and better quality.

Its interesting to see .webm is smaller tho XD, archives of these videos I make will still be in MP4 but ye its weird how it seems to be smaller in some cases for seemingly no reason to me.

@DCTheGamr btw, Idk if you know about Handbrake but it's pretty much the go-to free video transcoder. It supports .webm with the AV1 video codec which is probably your best bet for maximum video quality at minimum size (and .webm is supposedly designed to be better than .mp4 for streaming video, but I have not looked into the technical reasons for this claim).

@.:A-MAN:. decided to figure out how much bandwidth it would take to share a small D2 clip ive had for months now thats from my Xbox One. After I made it 360p, 20FPS, 256kbps bitrate, and 64kbps audio it was very damn small so yea we're almost guaranteed to be good. Its not good as in "I would make a TOR mirror of this site if I ever decide to host a dark-web site" since videos still require more bandwidth, but its good enough for me.



On another note, I think I'm going to one day make my own private file-host purely so I don't have to keep dealing with having a hard time sharing images after my Guilded ban + Discord changing it so links change every 24h. A lot more 3DSPaint images probably due to that but whatever XD. secretfiles.venith.net when

Lol i have a flip-ton I wanna add to my site too, I swear the moment I get that domain I'm going crazy with my redesigns XD. Archives, status posts, articles, notes, videos, music, and projects LOL. Its gonna be amazing, tho videos will be harder to figure out due to the much higher bandwidth requirement of them

But yeah I like kinda in your face styling for my personal pages.

I build and control 70 webapps/websites at work. Those are way less... offensive to eyeballs and more standard/generic looking lol.

My filters are good enough on my phone and email that I don't care if they get scraped. The form actually has had more real people hit it than bots

@umer936 In my experience scraping bots have had no trouble getting around it, it really only stops DDoS attacks it seems.
