TIL what the outer ring on my watch does.
It's a diver watch elapsed time bezel. Only rotates counter-clockwise. You set the 0-position to the minute hand, and then you can see exactly how many minutes have elapsed in an easy to read method, mostly so you know when your 15 minute dive is up. It also only can rotate counter-clockwise so that if it ever gets nudged incorrectly, the error is on the safe side - not the side that could lead to running out of oxygen.
I'd wondered why it was there and why the ring seemed separate from the rest of the watch, but then I looked it up.

It's just a normal nice watch for daily. Most are 100M waterproof, I think.
I like it a lot though because I have small wrists. I'd been looking for a new watch and when I saw it, I thought it was so pretty.
