I'd be very surprised if blogs didn't give rep I'm pretty sure everything does.

Mostly by posting statuses. You gain reputation at the same rate as cu.bes (sometime abbreviated as cu.) IIrc statuses are 2 rep, comments are 1 rep, and forum posts are 1 rep. Can't remember if we decided to make blogs give rep or not.
