Found this beaut. Norinco SKS, was originally looking at a Yugo 24/47 but this was even better and only $40 more.

@CJ101 As far as Yugo 24/47 goes, it's basically a Yugoslavian Mauser 98k.
It was Yugo made, when the German tooling for the Mauser 98k was I suppose captured. There are German captured Yugo ones as well, basically re-stamped ones called M48. German ones are very expensive, so going with a Yugo rifle is typically preferred if you didn't care about it being German made or not.

@CJ101 It's a Chinese SKS (semi-auto) rifle. This specific one I have was built in 1973 for import (not military as I understand). SKS uses 7.62x39 cartridge just like the famous AK-47. Mine didn't come with the bayonet or cleaning rod but did have a buttpad. These rifles use to be super cheap (think less than $100) but mil-surp rifles gotten quite expensive during Obama administration if I recall correctly. So your typical price for a Chinese SKS is around $300, even more for Russian ones.
