It's mostly that until you do stuff, things are very very unclear. It's a weirdly insular community. Half way through installing though.

Heres a simple thing you can do. Get your 3ds homebrewed first, find the mhxx demo on google and download the iso and put that on an sd card, install fbi on your 3ds, install the iso. Google each step one by one might help.

I mean, I can't figure out how I would get access to the mhxx demo because some people are like it's easy, some people say it's hard. There's the freeshop which will give you titles that you already own, but I don't own that title, except maybe I can point that at a title database and get it via that but I can't find any databases?
