How's everyone doing these days?

I'm just feeling really... ready but at the same time not about graduating high school. Exciting to go to college, but sad that I'll miss a few friends and teachers. I got voted Class Clown and was runner-up for Most Likely to Be President?? Finished my senior project and actually was really proud of my writing portfolio. Still trying to look for a decent college laptop ("high battery, touch screen, runs the internet really well" - my non-tech self) and a way to do a math placement test, but other than all that... I'm overall really excited about the future.

This place reminds me of my past. Tbh tho, without this community I'm not sure if my writing skills and creativity would be what they are today. Those stories really kicked my motivation to write, I think.

Anyway, enough ranting. Refer to question above.

@umer936 Thanks for the congratulations and advice! Yeah, I'm hoping with more free time I'll be able to manage it better i.e., give me longer work periods and fun periods etc. I think.

I'm good... working on another game, which I'm not really allowed to speak of until July.

But yeah, life's good, I'm souped for the summer.

@DracoAureus
Congrats! I graduated HS last year and can confirm what everyone else has said.

High school was so much worse. However, you do have to be better at managing your free time in college.

@.:A-MAN:. That's refreshing to hear that college is way better... honestly, I've been stuck in this small town for so long and I've just been aching for something new this whole time.

@rayword45 University of Georgia. And yeah. tbh it was hilarious to go back and read a while back on all that ah, drama that exploded that just turned out to be that I was like, what, 12?

But yeah, that's a comfort to know. I expect it to be a bit harder, since I'm planning on a double major or major/minor at the least, but I expect there will be more free time - which is good for me, I think.

I forget how I would know you. Where are you going to college? Speaking as a straight C student who hated high school, college is both actually enjoyable and much easier (I went to an butt hard HS tho).
