@CJ101 There are a lot of people who are afraid of the stigma associated with Japanese culture. They don't want to be one of "those" people as somebody once told me when I recommended an anime. They think there is something inherently wrong with liking Japanese things, and since Japanese people aren't nazis or anything else that would warrant that kind of thinking, I think it's xenophobia.

Not sure if its xenophobia, or more of an irrational hatred of a hobby/preference. Though the fact that its predominantly Japanese would make it fit lol. What a dumb comment regardless. Unless you're an extreme weraboo I have no beef.
