Interesting for sure. While I do agree with the general thesis, I must say, "AI" (specifically LLMs) has definitely made me more productive for programming at the very least. I imagine what the author describes does apply for many jobs where there is little (if any) gain from AI, but my particular case is counter to it being universally true.
