@DraconidJoashu i have been in cold places with lots of snow and storms... Cold can be very miserable, just as much as heat, unless the the place is cold but not storming.

(I'd take a winter without a heater over a summer without AC any day, personally.)

(Except our AC broke last year and now we feel hot and miserable all day.)
