Ah I noticed we're opening a pusher channel even when not logged in, so it totally could have been a spider crawling the site that was opening all the channels. I'm surprised we hadn't encountered this before. Put in a fix to only connect if logged in.

If you do put that in maybe log the whole fingerprint, maybe if it is multiple IP addresses it is at least the same sketchy user agent or something that you can block.

@SLEDGE yeah might have to do our own analytics on this one if it happens again. Luckily we're not penalized, we just don't get push notifications for the rest of the 24 hours.

Did it come from a single public IP? Lol Could be the normal Internet thing of some entity scanning the internet for vulnerabilities to exploit.
