I use my USB a lot and it gets extremely hot, which greatly reduces the speed.

Trying to make some sort of heatsink for the USB, but the problem is that the USB only sticks out a few centimeters, so I think it'd work better to have a USB extender and put the heatsink there

@.:A-MAN:. I read the thread. I imagined a bunch of people getting either triggered an typing hard on their keyboards or getting snobbish and showing of "knowledge"

@.:A-MAN:. And yeah, I don't see why everyone's taking it so seriously. I mean, having a clear case or adding LEDs to a rig definitely doesn't have any performance benefit, but people are perfectly cool seeing that.

@.:A-MAN:. I more just want to know if it has a performance benefit at all. I liked the little fans.
I can't do a heatsink because there's nowhere I could put it on the drive that it'd actually be effective

I think everyone is taking that thread way too seriously. :P

They're all like "it wouldn't be practical, you could just add a heatsink and it would be just as effective" and I'm like "duh, that's not the point" lol
