On a different note from the last one, also spent the day looking at cars (because kinda wrecked the last one). Seems like we're going to buy a Lexus IS 350, but we can't find any good colors for the exterior and interior on the same car. Also looked at Audis, but bit out of price range and, honestly, I was actually really disappointed when we test drove the A6 Premium Plus (IIRC model correctly).

I'm not talking high-end luxury or anything. I mean like Lexus, Infiniti, Mercedes, etc. For example, they try to avoid plastic and use like wood or metal (if they do use plastic, it's not like black plastic-y plastic). Then they have higher quality seats and softer suspension and stuff like that. Teslas make up for the better systems (eg suspension) found in other cars through their use of technology (https://jalopnik.com/the-tesla-model-s-raises-the-suspension-based-on-locati-1636877061) which makes it really cool, but as a product, it would have been better to just put better material in the car (which they can't afford to do since they already lose money every car they make).

@.:A-MAN:. In terms of material and comfort/luxury, yes, definitely.

Teslas are super cool, technologically/electronically, but the actual quality of the car is closer to my compact car than a luxury/premium vehicle.

Teslas are too cheap and not-luxury on the inside.
